The Southeast Iowa Denmark Renaissance Faire is a vibrant, family-friendly event that transports visitors back to the age of knights, kings, and medieval merriment. Held in the quaint town of Denmark, Iowa, it is the only Renaissance Faire in the state built entirely on private land, offering a truly unique and immersive experience.

At the heart of the event are the Pirate King & Queen of the Royal Rogues & Renegades, notorious for their shenanigans and villainy with panache. Specializing in live, all-day entertainment and thrilling dance battles, these Royal Rogues have honed their craft while terrorizing the shores of New Orleans in French Louisiana and the sandy beaches of the mythical land of Vegas. Their playful and mischievous presence draws both adults and children into quests of adventure, but beware—encountering these two means engaging with shenanigans of the highest degree!

In addition to pirate hijinks, the fair offers jousting tournaments, and sword-fighting demonstrations, immersing visitors in the pageantry of the Renaissance era. A bustling marketplace filled with artisans selling handcrafted goods—leatherwork, pottery, and Renaissance-style clothing—adds to the festive atmosphere.

Visitors can indulge in traditional food like turkey legs, while costumed performers and musicians bring the event to life across multiple stages. Kids can participate in games, and storytelling, ensuring fun for all ages.
