YMCA Trunk or Treat
FREE, FUN & SAFE Trick-or-Treating at the YMCA!
Join us Friday, October 23rd for the Fort Madison Family YMCA’s 10th Annual Trunk or Treat!
Local businesses and organizations will fill the YMCA parking lot with creatively decorated trunks for kids to stroll through and collect treats. It’s a fun, FREE and family-friendly way to celebrate Halloween!
Parking Information:
No vehicles, other than participating vendors, will be allowed in the YMCA parking lot after 3:30 p.m. Guest parking will be available across the street at Holy Trinity Catholic High School.
Rain or Shine:
If it rains, the fun will move inside the YMCA gymnasium!

Cider Run Car Show at Appleberry Orchard
oin us for our 13th annual Cider Run Car Show at Appleberry Orchard on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 11:00am-4:00pm!
The orchard will be filled with cars, trucks, bikes, rat rods and tractors. This fun show has no entry fee and no awards, creating a relaxed, family-friendly day for car enthusiasts of all kinds. Plus, enjoy raffle prizes! Event shirts will be available for purchase.

Movie Nigh in the Park
Join the YMCA Test Kitchen for a spooky, cozy night under the stars featuring a special FREE showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas in Central Park, sponsored by Connection Bank!
Bring the whole family, wear your favorite costume, and settle in with a cozy blanket or something comfortable to sit on while we enjoy this Halloween classic on the big screen.
Come early for our food sale under the shelter house beginning at 5:30 PM. We’ll have chili, chicken pot pie soup, hot dogs for the kids, seasonal baked goods including treats from Kelly Cakes, drinks, and a hot chocolate bar.

Denmark Iowa Renaissance Faire
Step into a world of knights, pirates and royal pageantry at the Second Annual Denmark Iowa Renaissance Faire, held October 31 and November 1, 2026, in Denmark, Iowa. Please follow all bike safety rules and help us promote safe riding habits. Helmets and bike lights are strongly encouraged.
