Road Construction
𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 - Phase Two of the Avenue L Overlay Project (20th–30th St) kicked off Tuesday, May 27. Please note:
Avenue G/Richards Drive remains closed between 27th Street and Oak Drive to protect the bridge from heavy vehicle traffic.
Local traffic-only routes (marked in blue) provide access to nearby businesses—shop local and support Fort Madison!
Bridge Closure
The Fort Madison Bridge will be temporarily closed for maintenance July 7–August 22 and again September 15–November 7.
Visiting from Illinois? Plan ahead!

Marina Dredging
We apologize for the inconvenience but we have just been notified that dredging will be bumped up starting Thursday June 5 and will continue until it is completed. We have been given an estimate of around 7 days or sooner. June 5th - June 12th.
This means that the mouth of the marina out toward the channel will be closed with an inability to receive any traffic into or out of the Fort Madison Marina.
