Join Appleberry Orchard for Rescue Hero Day on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:00-4:00pm! This special day is your chance to celebrate and thank our local rescue heroes.

Meet first responders, explore fire trucks, see an ambulance up close and learn about the important work our rescue heroes provide for our community. The Air Evac helicopter is scheduled to arrive at 2pm, pending emergencies. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Lee County Sheriff, K9 officers, the Iowa State Patrol and more! We encourage you to bring your cameras to capture this experience. Rescue Hero Day is included with weekend admission.
